Rainey III travelled to Strabane on Saturday keen to maintain their momentum after two bonus point victories over Ballyshannon and Derry, as they build towards the first round of the McCambley Cup in December. The objective was secured after 18 minutes when McNabb touched down for Raineys fourth try, to add to previous tries scored by Molloy, Friel and McSwiggan. Both Molloy and Friel would add a further try each to their tallies for the afternoon, along with scores for Pollock, McAfee and McGlone. Strabane got into their rhythm in the second half, making it a much tighter game than the scoreline suggests, but the Rainey defensive line held strong throughout to keep the Tyrone side at bay. Pollock kicked 4 conversions to leave the final score 53-0 to the visitors.
